'22 Telluride running lights & signals

I have a silly question... I don't like to see, for example, a vehicle's front right running light shut off when the driver uses the right turn signal. My preference would be that the running lights stay on through signals. Do the '22 Telluride turning side running lights turn off when signaling for a turn? If they do, is there a way to tweak a setting somewhere to prevent the running light from turning off while signaling? Thanks.

It depends on the model.

If you get a Telluride with the factory LED headlights (EX Premium or SX), the DRLs are amber. So when you put on your turn signal, the DRL on that side will just start flashing until you turn off the signal, at which point it will go back to doing its job as a DRL.

For lower trims that have factory halogen headlights (LX, S, standard EX), the DRLs are white LED. They are afflicted by the issue you are troubled by because their turn signal is not the DRL, but right next to it. It is thus subject to the requirement that the DRL be extinguished when the turn signal is active. There is no way to change this (at least not easily), and even if you could, it would make the turn signal on those models much harder to see.

That's exactly what I needed. I've ordered an SX. Thanks.
