Wait Times

So we are in Omaha, NE and ordered an AWD SX Gravity grey with towing/ nightfall May 2021 with a 6-8 month estimated wait time. At the beginning of January we called to check in on the status since we were in month 8, and were told we were about 90 days out from delivery If that holds true, it will be 10-11 months from when we sat down with the dealership to place our order with them to delivery. I think they actually were able to submit the order to Kia early June. Of course certain dealerships get more allotment per month so it doesn't take as long in some cases, but we are definitely so tired of waiting.

We originally put in our order last July. In November our dealer suggested to change interior color, because they were not seeing production of what we ordered. So, we did that. We have not received any ETA from the dealer or the manufacturer. We're almost to the point of cancelling and purchasing a different vehicle. We rather not, because we have set our sights on this design for 2 years.

I'm interested to hear if you decided on another vehicle. I'm close to the same point.

I ordered my EX on 10/16 and picked it up on 7/29.... if I knew how much I was going to love it I would have been WAY more impatient.

I ordered my telluride in January of this year. Still waiting and I am being told possibly March of 2023. Kia isn’t allotting enough cars to my dealership

Northern Indiana here...ordered on 1/15/22, and took delivery on 9/26. Was initially told 6-8 months. Well worth the wait! I recommend adding the Motorola MA1 for wireless Android Auto (https://www.motorola.com/us/ma1-wireless-car-adapter-for-android-auto/p) and the Autostop Eliminator (https://www.autostopeliminator.com/...oducts/2020-kia-telluride-autostop-eliminator) to keep the autostop from engaging unless you want it on. Works like a charm. Enjoy!!
