Anyone know if the tow package and Self-Leveling Rear Suspension can be dealer installed? Some of the ones I've been looking at online doesn't come with the optional Tow Package.

I'm pretty certain it could be installed at the dealer. It's a really good looking hitch too.

Is this the way it comes from the factory? No cover over the rear? Looks good, just wondering...thanks!

That's the way it comes, no cover.
Good, I like it that way. I usually keep the ball mount w/ ball locked in the hitch as a sort of "bumper", lots of folks around here park by "feel" if you get my drift.

I like having the exposed hitch as well.

That picture!

I asked our dealer (they looked in to it) and said the hitch won't be available for another month *or a few weeks.

Does someone here have a hitch installed?

As from what I was told the self-leveling had to be done at the factory. The hitch itself can be done at the dealership. I take delivery of mine in 2 weeks that I ordered mid-Feb.

Kia America called me today, I spoke with them for more than 30 min. Some of the people are nicer than others. I am upset because I was told the sx prestige unit I bought had the tow package... after learning it did not.. the dealer gave me a IOU for the tow package. Kia America is telling me that June is the earliest Kia will ship hitches to dealers... meanwhile they have units shipping from the factory with the tow package.

Anything can be done as far as adding the rear adjustable suspension afterwards. Once parts become available I will figure out how to retro fit the unit.

Wandering around the local Kia dealer today, they had about 7 Tellurides in the lot including 1 SX, none of them had the tow package.

Somewhat off topic but related, does the vehicle come prewired for a brake controller?

My hitch has arrived at my dealer. They will install it on Monday 4/29. Proper undercarriage pics to follow.
