I am wondering, shouldn’t the doors automatically lock when the key fob is out of its range?

Welcome to the group!

Good question. I know it locks itself again if you unlock the door and don't open the door within the 30 seconds.

Welcome! I like that idea. It'd also be nice if you can program it to unlock the doors when you approach the vehicle.

Congrats and welcome aboard. I haven't seen an out of range automatic door locking feature before.

I don’t mind pushing the button on the door to get in, but it does light up the handle when you get in range! Love the lighting btw!

If it does, then why does it say on my app that I left my door unlocked after about and hour later.

You can just try it. Lock the doors, wait a few minutes then unlock it. If you don't open the doors within 30 seconds it'll lock itself again.
