Anyone opted for Side Step?

Hi,

We are looking to buy the Telluride and wondering if to get the side step (older parents and kids in the future). Did anyone get it installed or have any pictures of Telluride with the side step?

Is there a running board option? I haven't seen it.

There is an option on Kia website for the side step but of course no picture on how it will look like. First time potential Kia buyer and have to say that their website is all over the place. If you go via "Explore Telluride" and trims it doesn't show the Sangria color for EX and shows "Brown" interiors which is not an option for EX. Most options don't have pictures of what the option looks like.

I honestly don’t thing you’d need one. Go try one before ordering one with the side steps.

I'm 5'3".. I can get in just fine, but I hop out lol... My girlfriend is 5'~ and has issues getting in and out. I'm waiting for some nerf style bars to be available.

I drive a 2017 Acadia, the older style and I have to step up slightly (I'm 5'11") to get into the Acadia. I sat in a Telliride recently and slid right into it, no step up at all, I think even though it has more ground clearance then the GMC the seating entry/position is friendlier in the Kia. Not sure if you have but maybe try one on for size.

We were good with entry and exit of the car (I am 6' and wife is 5'10) but my consideration was for my older parents and future kids.

Side steps will lower ground clearance. As much as 2 inches.

For us we don't plan on going off-road, the steps would make getting in and out much easier for my 80 y/o mother and our kids.

To each there own. I have to get up and down really bad roads, not off road but anything lower then 6 inches will get ripped off.

I'm still waiting for someone to have it installed on their Telly to provide some feedback.
