I've compared 3 LED bulbs Zdatts, Sealight and TIANFUYAO 9005 (utmeep recommended https://www.kiatelluride.org/threads/headlight-led-upgrade.427/page-5 )

Zdatts: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01JS7L4R8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Sealight: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07HCZ4VCH/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
TIANFUYAO: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07N4K1L7G/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I like the TIAFUYAO the best. I agree with utmeep, the dark spot in the picture is not that noticeable in real life. I just ordered another set to be used as a spare!

Thanks for the comparison. #3 does look the brightest. Did you do a high beam test too?

Awesome test. Since you can see these personally, how would you rank them from best to worst?

No, you have to remove the dust cap.

The remove the bulb, it takes a little elbow grease. It's kinda hard the first time.

Remember to twist it counter clockwise to loosen it.

Also the bulb needs to be aligned correctly when installing. There are 3 tabs (one narrow and two wide). The final position of these tabs should be at approximately the 12 o'clock (narrow tab) position and 4 o'clock & 8 o'clock position (wider tab). To reinstall you must start with the narrow tab at approximately 9-11 o'clock position. If the narrow tab is inserted correctly, the wider tabs will also be correctly positioned Once the tabs are positioned correctly turn it clock wise to tighten.

Don't force it, be gentle otherwise it might be misaligned and difficult to remove. 1557287510692.png

Is it just the camera angle or I am seeing virtually no dark spots with the Zdatts?

Great job on this @jazzyone I would not have the patience to take a test picture of the maybe a dozen bulbs I tested lol.

No, on the contrary, thank you for going through all the different bulbs. I used your latest choice to confirm what you have already stated. I just compiled the results of the limited bulbs I tested. I've even tried to go with HID and 3D printed dust cover (instead of dissecting the factory dust cover), but at the end I am satisfied with the TIANFUYAO LED.

I'm curious has anyone flashed you their highbeams yet? I want to do this mod but I worry that I might blind people. Do we need to aim the beams lower after installing these?

For me the stock alignment was low. I raised mine to the trunk level of a normal sedan. No issues.

From personal preference it’s ranked from acceptable to best.
