Knowing what I know now, I kind of wished I had purchased an SX instead of an EX for the added options. For me it wasn't about saving money but more not wanting to wait months on an SX. Anyone else on the same boat?

I always wanted the SX, but at the time there were none available and I needed a AWD/4x4 for a desert/trail run. LoL

I was in the same situation, either get a EX that was on the lot or wait it out.

I looked for about 2 months looking for an SX with Prestige in black or white. The only ones available were either moss or didn't have prestige. I waited all the way until a day before the trip to buy lol.

I waited too, after awhile I just got tired of calling dealers and getting told it was already sold. Found an EX in the color I wanted and bought it a few days later.

I wanted the second row bench and it was only available on the EX. Otherwise I would have purchased an SX.

I didnt need all those bells and whistle. I couldn't afford an SX. So I purchased EX and changed the wheel to get an SX look. EX has alot of great options, I wish I wouldve got AWD for the heated steering wheel tho.

I'm in Canada, and in the same situation as a lot of you. Just not that many SXs available. so just got the EX.
The only thing that bugs me is the screen on the dash, so bland, would have been nice with some color. Also the Birds Eye Camera would have been nice.

Agreed. Would have been nice if they went full color lcd standard like most modern cars now a days.

SX is no better so do not fool yourself. Just bought the car brand new 16 miles and they had to drop the engine due to a coolant defect and now I am being told a cylinder head, really....you have to touch my engine within less than two weeks from purchase. Sad thing is they had to work with Kia support services to figure out the problem they didn't even know. Buyer beware.....

I had that happen on a Chevy celebrity I had bought. Overheated and had to replace the head, head gasket, and water pump. Was in the shop 5 out of the 7 months I owned it. Also had an overheat on a Ford Focus I bought, the replaced the temp sending unit, the instrument cluster, and finally the head which was milled to shallow (out of specs) with a new one. This can happen to anyone, you just happen to be the unlucky one this time. I've had it happen to me twice now, so I know what you are going through. Just hang on, they will get it right.

As others have pointed out, the 2nd row bench is a must for me.

I will be ordering the EX.

I never wanted an SX ...

- dont like black painted wheels
- dont like the look or ride you get with 20" wheels
- easier and less expensive to get a more aggressive tire for the 18" wheel when the time comes
- I find a heads up display annoying
- preferred second row bench for the hound

I think I might not have bought the Telluride at all, simply based on availability of parts and being a first-year model. Also, my dealer sucks, and the next closest is over an hour away.

I'm in the market for a Telluride. I want an SX and the wife wants an EX due to the 2nd row bench seat. I found a used (272 miles) at a dealer here with an SX that has a 2nd row bench seat. Plan on looking at it today. Another dealer here in AZ told me that wasn't even possible. https://www.markkia.com/inventory/used-2020-kia-telluride-sx-awd-4d-sport-utility-5xyp5dhc2lg005706 Has anyone else seen or have an SX with a 2nd row bench?
No its not possible....that Mark Kia pictured is an S not an SX. Seems like they have that all messed up. I doubt even Mark Kia would try to get 46K for an S
