Can you experienced folks put in the list of things one needs to check while taking delivery of a vehicle.... I am sure it will help identify issues at the dealership instead of at home and then trying to prove the issue was already present....

1) Inspect the car carefully inside and out for any damage or obvious cosmetic issues and have the dealer note them on the invoice. (Check the bumpers and hood for rock chips)
2) Ask the salesperson to walk you through the various features.
3) Ask if all TSB's are performed (If applicable).
4) Make sure both key FOBs work.
5) Bring a camera and take some video and photos before you drive it off the lot.
6) Make sure they give you a full tank of gas.
7) Do a test drive and make sure there are no alignment issues.
8) If you are purchasing from your local dealer, have the salesperson give you a tour of the building and introduce you to the service adviser.
9) If you want something free, make sure you get it in writing. A dealer will usually give you an IOU in writing for anything that requires ordering.
10) If you need help with Siriusxm or Kia Access app, make sure they walk you through the activation.

Great list above.

I'd like to add.

1. If the dealer added their dealer stickers, make sure you have them remove it before signing any paperwork.
2. If you special ordered your Telluride, have them go over the Monroney so that it matches your order sheet.

Bring a copy of your insurance too. I forgot mine and had to go home and get it before they let me drive home.

oh, this stumped me. I thought my UVO account was messed up. Car says UVO is now active, but when I log into my account either from my phone or computer, it said UVO account must be activated. When I called UVO CSR, they told me to try the phone number instead. Guess what? It worked. The account access should have worked either with your email or phone number. I never thought to try the phone number.

Have them go over the key, starting it when the push button doesn't work and how to access the lock with the key. It took me forever to figure it out on my Sorento :)
Also, test the smart cruise and lane assist to make sure all of the sensors are working especially if you are flying in to pick it up and drive home.
Be sure to take the original charger if you are going to use Android Auto, the charge only cable won't work for that feature.

Just call ur insurance next time and have cards faxed or txted to salesperson.

Be sure you didnt do anything verbal like saying 4k down including your trade-in and not in adidition to your trade in. Grrrr.....
