I have it done @ a dealership. Bought a maintenance plan @ time of purchase, the plan reimburses me for the cost, ( oil, filter, & Iabor ), just send them copies of the receipts. Because of how little both of us drive, oil changes are every six months, per the owners manual..( 5000 miles or 6...

Took the 24 in for it's 3rd oil change today, ( turned 1600 miles on the trip home ). Took 6.5 qts. to get to the top mark on the dipstick, half qt. less the the manual calls for.. .

According to the 2024 owners manual, an oil & filter replacement requires 7.08 qts. of oil. According to the 2025 owners manual, an oil & filter replacement requires 6.87 qts. of oil. I asked Kia why there is a difference & what amount I should use as they're the same engine...............their...
