Android auto connection?

I am unable to connect my 7 S Edge Samsung to Android auto. Any help would be appreciated

I always plug it in when I use Carplay or Andriod Auto

As Krug asked, did you plug in via the center USB port? Android Auto and Apple Carplay does not work via bluetooth.

My Android Auto isn't working with my new SX. Ive tried different USB cables, with and without Bluetooth on (in case that was interfering), reinstalled Android Auto, rebooted phone, reset car to factory settings and switched Android auto on and off in the car's settings. Ive seen some others have had this issue too. Anyone know how to fix it? I have a Galaxy S9+.

Has the same phone and cable worked with any other vehicle’s AA?
