Anyone know why the Hyundai Palisade is built in Korea and not the Telluride?

I'm all for more jobs at home but still curious as to why the Hyundai Palisade is built in Korea and not the Telluride? I know Hyundai has a huge plant in Montgomery, Alabama so why wasn't the Palisade built there?

I think it was set up for the Asian market and even heard it came with a diesel engine....optional. Even the T-Rides have overseas fans...the Arabs... they are fitted with cloth seats and cup ashtray LOL. Nothing is what it seems.... Market dictates.

Probably easier for them to export. From what I've read its been a really hot seller in Korea too.
