But I believe interior volume is close to full-size rivals

This SUV will close that gap between SUV's that can haul 7+peo people and those that claim too. The last gen ford explorer was not a comfortable unit to us a third row seat in, the kia is.

Its on the larger side of a Mid Sized SUV but it's not Navigator or Suburban which are Large SUVs
