Noticed other day steering wheel had a white spot and found that leather piece came off. I don't wear anything sharp that could cause this. Wife's side door handle has a scrub off?. Anyone else having this problem?

Same here. We suddenl noticed what appeared to be a chunk missing form the lower part of the steering wheel. Most certainly, nothing has impacted this steering wheel that would have caused such an issue.

I've noticed the same thing on my steering wheel. The white little spots that show through are bc of the very thin layer of "leather" that wraps the wheel and my finger nails cutting through it on occasion.
