For off-roading there is no downhill descent control on the Telluride.

I saw hill descent button on Palisade, but I don't think that the Telluride has this.

I asked a Client Care Specialist in Southwest Kia, he said: "All models of Tellurides have the Downhill Brake Control, there is no button to activate this feature. It is activated when needed". Acually I didn't understand how the car will determine the need, but that's better than no thing anyway.

It is recommended that engine be off when loading unto a tow truck because the angle sensor will activate the air bags sensing it to be a potential roll over situation.

I would imagine it uses the same angle sensor to determine if you are going up hill (to stop roll back) and down hill (to apply traction control) when needed.
