Looking to see if anyone has info on when weathertech plans to have laser cut mats out for the telluride. Or any alternatives other than universal mats

I sent a email and offered my telluride as a model for them to design the floor mat around. We live close to their facility in the Chicago area.

I received a generic reply simply saying that they don’t offer anything for the car yet.

Husky floor liners said they'll be releasing their liners soon. I'll keep an eye on it and report back

I hope they come out soon. I've been eyeing the OEM set for some time and have been using a cheap universal set for the time being.

Anyone have any suggestions for decent quality generic aftermarket carpeted floor mats, with heel protection, that will fit our beasts while we wait for the Maxliners and Weathertechs of the world to release their options?

Husky are the way to go, purchased for all my vehicles in the past and not a single complaint about their durability and volume of water capacity.
I will definitely be buying them for my telly

Their response to my email. Should be available in 4 - 8 weeks

Thank you for your interest in WeatherTech products!

I pulled up our product information on that vehicle and it looks like the specialists are already busy working on this vehicle. According to the information the FloorLiners will most likely be completed and available for purchase in the next 4 - 8 weeks. It is possible the time frame could vary some but it is well underway. If you would like to you can fill out our notification form on the website so that you receive email notification once the product is ready for purchase. I have attached the link to the web link below for your convenience.

I'm thinking a foldable option is the way to go. I don't use the third row very often but if I have to and have that slick, larger Weathertech liner in, it's going to be tough to make the third row work without pre-planning.
True, you just get a little bet better side protection with the weathertechs but its not as convenient.
