Pretty sure that's a sill plate, not a skid plate. I believe an actual skid plate is forthcoming.

Unfortunately, mnsoft (Kia's map update company) confirmed that the forthcoming update will not include full-screen Android Auto:

Interesting. It seems they include a change log of "New Features" when they release a new version. If this change is included, I will buy the upgrade. Otherwise I'll wait (in other cars I've updated map versions every few years).

Wow, glad I put my order in a few days ago. I expect the car will be worth the wait.

Not yet--planning on ordering this week. Hoping the side steps are available for inclusion. If they're not, I'll ask if I can update my order once the side steps are officially released, and add them to my build at that point.

Per a conversation with a dealer over the weekend (and the attached list of Port-Installed Options), the Side Step Bars (order code SS) are being released "Mid May" and the Front Skid Plate (order code SKD) is being released "Late July." So perhaps we'll see part numbers for these post-official...

Does anyone have an image for the Side Step Bars, or an exact release date? I only have "Mid May." Attached is the full set of Port-Installed Options (from a local dealer), in case helpful to anyone.
