We have the same problem. Hard knocking under acceleration started at under 30K and then noticeable oil consumption by 50K; our dealer is performing a consumption test and at 1,000 the engine has burned over a quart of oil. I would love to know how many owners are enduring the same problems...

I have had problems with oil consumption and a hard knock during acceleration. The knock has been with us since the 30K mark and oil consumption at least since 45K. We're at 58,000 and the motor is undergoing an oil test to see if it's eating itself. I wouldn't buy a used Telly without an oil...
