I gave up waiting for Kia to have a Tow Package available which includes a hitch and wiring harness, and purchased a Nissan Pathfinder instead. It isn't quite as roomy in the back row, but it has a better towing capacity of 6,000 lbs (assuming you could actually tow with a Telluride).

I couldn't agree with you more. I've told the local Kia rep I'm ready to order a Telluride once the Tow Package is available. No one around here seems to know anything about availability - very disappointing, if not downright pathetic. If they don't figure it out soon I may be looking for...

As far as I have been able to determine, the tow package is not currently available for any trim style for the 2023 Telluride. Apparently there was a recall issue with the 2022 wiring harness that hasn't been resolved for the 2023 model yet, so Kia is not installing hitches or wiring harnesses...
