Kia Telluride ADM Dealers a.k.a "Bad Kia Dealers List"

All of the central Florida Kia dealers I have contacted have either market adjustment add-ons or inflated charges for invisible magic paint and fabric treatments or dealer fees or all of the above. To make matters worse, they report to TruCar and Consumer Reports that they are discounting from...

    Shady Suntrip St Louis

I don't have an issue with dealers selling for over list price. I have an issue PAYING over list price and won't do it. The Mazda and Subaru dealers are salivating to sell me one of their $45k+ crossovers and unless Kia and Hyundai make a deal, I'll drive one of the others. There's a reason my...

Kia Telluride ADM Dealers a.k.a "Bad Kia Dealers List"

Your Kia dealer broke the law by not providing you with the Monroney sticker. You should file a complaint with your state's department of consumer affairs. Even if it was already removed from the window they're supposed to give it to you.

    Bubble on the dash

In most circumstances, I'd probably demand the dash to be replaced but this might be repairable by an auto interior shop (maybe Kia will send it out for you) The reason I mention this is because my Mazda 6 was recalled because of gumminess on top of the dash that was going to affect deployment...

It's Official: Kia Launching Seltos Subcompact SUV in U.S. for 2021

Is there anything less "utility" than a subcompact SutilityV? My mid-sized sedan has more passenger and cargo space than many compact SUVs. My 2 dogs would need the back seat folded down making a sub-compact SUV into a 2 seater, trunkless car. Just stop putting lipstick on the pig and bring back...

Kia Telluride ADM Dealers a.k.a "Bad Kia Dealers List"

The whole supply and demand resulting in overcharging will quickly self regulate. Some vehicles such as the mid engine Corvette are guaranteed collector items for low serial numbers that are fully loaded. The telluride has zero chance of ever being a collector item. Sorry, it's a great, well...

Kia Telluride ADM Dealers a.k.a "Bad Kia Dealers List"

The RX350L. My 99 RX300 has less technology than the 96 Grand Cherokee it replaced. What it has is comfort, quiet and durability. At 20 years old, the driver seat is still super comfortable and painless even after 10 hours straight in the seat. Not ruling out the telluride, but I have no...

Kia Telluride ADM Dealers a.k.a "Bad Kia Dealers List"

Just remember that anything paid over MSRP is not taken into account by your insurance company. Also won't be taken into account at sale/trade-in time. If you're ok with paying extra to be first, enjoy. Personally, I don't stand in line at Apple stores and don't care if there's a new car in the...

Kia Telluride ADM Dealers a.k.a "Bad Kia Dealers List"

I've been doing my shopping homework for a 3 row SUV with over 3500# towing capacity. Looking at this thread, it makes me think that I shouldn't even bother walking into a Kia dealer. Telluride rates well and might be the nicest Kia made, but it's no Lexus. I can pay a little more and get a...

2021 Details (For those of us who are still waiting and wondering if its still worth the wait for a 2020 model)

The USA today article is based on consumer reports which has been my source for auto reliability data since 1977. Our current fleet is a 20 year old Lexus and a 10 year old Mazda, coincidentally ranked #1 and #2 on the CR reliability list. Unfortunately, Lexus has priced itself out of our budget...

2021 Details (For those of us who are still waiting and wondering if its still worth the wait for a 2020 model)

Disclosure: I have never owned a Kia or a Subaru but consider the Ascent and Telluride strong contenders for an imminent purchase. As far as the turbo is concerned, as someone who has regularly kept cars 10-20 years, I have avoided turbos as a religion. However, Subaru has a long history with...

    Telluride towing package owners

Unrelated question prompted by the photo of the spare tire under mounted. It's been ages since I've owned a vehicle with an undermount, but that one had a hinged bar under the spare which was an effective lever for lowering and raising the spare. Has anyone removed the spare and what do you do...
