So what is the trick to getting the TPMS light to turn off I've driven a half an hour at highway speeds after airing up the tire and it will not go out.

Started and stopped the vehicle several times still on.

Well going way over pressure, 38 and then back down to 36 fixed the problem, unfortunately what's showing on the dashboard when they're at 36 is 32? I guess you can't go by what the computer tells you.

You may need to take it to the dealer and have them reset the TPMS system and do a relearn. You could also potentially have a defective TPMS sensor on that wheel. I have one that always runs 1 lb. higher than all of the others, but I've been too lazy to take it to the dealer. They can set an offset on the sensor to adjust for it.
