To your knowledge does this mean they are switching the 2020's to a 7 pin connector? Sounds like it but I don't see it actually saying 7 pin.

No - asked that specific question of the Kia VP of customer service - she specifically said it does not include changing to 7-pin.

Now - it might be worth an ask at the dealer to see if there might be some savings if doing at the same time... Just a thought...
