FM radio sounds louder because radio stations boost and compress their signal before broadcasting. That makes everything sound louder. CarPlay sends normal digital audio from your phone, which isn’t boosted the same way, so it sounds quieter at the same volume setting.

The SC194 recall did not replace a module or change Smart Cruise Control logic. What Kia did was add a couple of jumper wires into the existing wiring harness so that when Smart Cruise Control automatically applies the brakes, the trailer brake lights also come on.

You looked at both fuse box right, one in the engine and one behind the panel? I would start by checking every fuse behind the panel first.

The vehicle needs to be ON (engine running or in READY mode) for the AC outlets to work. The outlets shut off shortly after the vehicle is turned off (typically within about 30 seconds, or immediately when a door is opened).
