IMHO, this 3.8 is not the engine for performance mods. Mods are easy on turbo engines, where you can play with the boost across the rev range. This engine is not boosted. Moreover, this engine is Atkins cycle, so it's designed to have better economy at the expense of power, particularly low-end...
