obviously filing a police report is the first step but you may want to see if the store she was at or any of the neighboring stores have video cameras that may be pointed in the right direction. There may be some color of the other vehicle scratched into yours.

Years ago my Expedition was backed into at a 7-11. When I came out and saw the damage I called the police to file a report. Evidently the purp that hit my car was watching from afar and when he saw all the activity they returned to confess. Another time I was sideswiped in my 7 series and the person just sped away. People suck!!! Hopefully the damage is minimal and can be repaired quickly.

Ya it's not that bad luckily the bumper is rubber and the light can be replaced

That really sucks! Hoping nobody was injured. I guess this is why we buy insurance every year hoping to never actually need it.
