Yup I got it to work. So here's what you do. Once you turn the engine off, push up on the wiper stock and hold it there for 2 seconds. The wiper will then stay in that position. The main thing is to make sure your engine is off and you do it within 20 seconds.

Its in the manual but I'd like to leave a copy here for quick reference. This is how you change the cabin filter.

The cabin filter is so cheap and you can easily do it yourself it's not worth bringing to the dealer, it'll take you less than 15 minutes to do.
