Wish Kia would have given us that option, from what I can see It needs to be connected to the phone for data.

They should because it lessons the spring travel. Not only that you're increasing the chances of the struts getting damaged. I think they are going this route because there is currently nothing on the market for the Telluride.

You can take it out of one and transfer it to another but you need to put it back in for the map to work. You can’t copy the cards either.

I have an iPhone and it doesn't happen with me. Try unpairing it and testing your theory.
