Hi,

I'm new here in the Forum. I'm upgrading my sound system in my ride and needed some help on a T-Harness. I bought new Pioneer TS-Z65CH speakers for the front and Pioneer TS-Z65F speakers for the rear. I'm going with an Audio Control D-5.1300 series amp/dsp and the Audio Control SPC-W10 sub. I searched hi and low for the correct T-Harness for my factory radio. Crutchfield says there is none, but I went ahead and purchased the PAC LPHHY06 LocPro Advanced T-Harness because I saw a site saying it would work. This has been the T-Harness being used since 2011. It would be my luck that they changed in 2023 with the new display. Crutchfield does say that the harness will work on the 2022 models. Is it possible that they haven't done the research on the newer models yet to say they fit, or has it changed? I also want to add that in searching the names of my speakers for this post I found out that they went on sale $50 each set. SCORE!

I have a 2024 Telluride. Crutchfield provided me with a lot of instructions, but only for disassembly. They didn't provide any instructions for reinstalling the new speakers. The same goes with the T-Harness. In order to add the harness and instructions in my in box I had to say that my Telluride was a 2022. The stereo is different but the instructions should be almost the same. I've done audio installs but with aftermarket stereos. This is my first time using the factory radio. Speakers are installed, but I'm doing a little more research before I try the T-Harness. I'm new at this forum stuff, but I'll try to add some before and after pictures. For anyone wondering why there's no mention of a T-Harness for 2023+ Tellurides, it's because there's no traditional stereo unit behind the big screen. From what I’ve seen, the screen itself functions as the stereo. I pulled it apart and snapped some photos—I'll upload those shortly.

As for tapping into speaker signals, most people are pulling them from behind the kick panels. Someone did share a wiring diagram, but it was pretty confusing—the wire colors actually change between the source and the speaker. For example, the front left positive wire starts out white but turns brown by the time it reaches the speaker, and the negative wire does the opposite. Definitely something I'm going to investigate before I splice in.

Since there isn't a T-Harness I decided to finish running my wires and temporarily put the amp where it will sit. I will attach some pictures.

sorry to say you are wrong. While you are right its just the screen and all the connection does is probably sends the signal, there is a radio unit with the harness on the drivers side center column two harnesses plug to it. On the 20-22 the unit is right behind the screen on the 23-25 there is no space. Lots of late model cars are like this big screens with the radio units tucked deep in the dash somewhere. I have bought that t harness and have made the wires longer and have not done the install yet. But I have gotten kia diagrams and looked how many pins each harness plug has and they lined up. So I'm like 90 percent sure it will work for 23-25 as long it's a trim with no amp. I have a s trim so I should be good.I just need to get on it and do the install. By the way love how you did the speakers I will copy you and do it the same way looks real good. Did you change the tweeters?
