Remote start with apps, car stops when opening/closing passenger door

When I remote start my Tellu with the Kia apps, if my someone enters in the car from passenger side before I jump in first (it's winter I need to remove snow from my car) then when passenger closes the door, the engine stops !!!

This is so dumb. Same thing, if I open any door to put something in the car and then close it, the car stops. What idiot engineers work at Kia ?!

It’s pretty common for most factory remote start systems.

I usually throw my key fob in the driver's seat to keep it running in that situation.
