We have a 2025 SX Prestige XLine with factory installed tow package. We hooked it up to our trailer for the first time yesterday. With the engine running or not, the blinkers and brake lights work. With the engine off, the trailer running/marker lights work. When you turn the engine on the marker lights stay on for approx 15 seconds, then the shut off. Brakes and blinkers still work.
Anyone know what is going on? It does not seem to be a trailer problem. The lights worked fine hooked up our previous vehicle. It seems like there is something going in the initial car start up process that might be shutting the marker lights off. We are going to connect a friends new travel trailer up to it later today to see if it happens again.
I hope someone has an idea. We are supposed to go camping in 2 weeks.
