Why is kia not making telluride SX

What is the problem with the telluride SX I have one on order for over 6 weeks and they tell me it will not even be made for 2 to 3 more weeks???

My SX Prestige has been on order since March 7, 2019 it will be 12 weeks on June 7

Multiple threads on this. They are backlogged on production. If you ordered late you'll be waiting months as they catch up to the earlier orders.
