Sunshade Options for the Telluride?

So it looks like I’ll be parking outside fairly often and with some of the dashboard bubble-up problems some have reported, I’m looking at getting a sunshade I can use on a daily basis to keep the Arizona sun from damaging my dash. Anyone found anything that fits it besides the KIA one?

I bought a the largest one at Walmart and it didn't fit right, kept falling down so I ended up returning it. I think getting the one from the dealer is going to fit the best.

“some” makes it sound like it’s a bigger problem. I’v only seen 1 report of the problem between various forums. I stand corrected if you’ve seen reports from other owners elsewhere.

That being said, I think it’s a good idea to use a sunshade, especially if you have a black interior. I purchased the following sunshade and it fits nicely and much cheaper.

https://www.walmart.com/ip/AutoHeat...020-Custom-Fit-Windshield-Sun-Shade/566216760

It’s a roll up type, not a folding accordion type.

There's two cases of bubbling that I've seen reported. I've looked very closely at mine and it seems fine.

Missed that one, I stand corrected!

Wow...and it’s in the same general area on two different vehicles. That kind of troubling!

The dealers/Kia will probably hire someone like to fix the bubble. I wouldn’t recommend doing this yourself, you’ll probably make it worse!

It looks very easily repairable if the center speaker grill can pop out from the top.

It is kind of troubling, hopefully very few are affected.

Anyone know the dimensions of the windshield? Checking some of the generic/universal fit options.

Thank you, can't wait to see how it fits.
I received my new windshield shade from Amazon ($51) and it fits like a glove. When I open it flat on the top of the dash, and lift it to the windshield, it stays put without the help of the visors. The quality is excellent and it keeps the car cool. I guess the quality is as good as the $125 one from Kia.
It is, however, a little bulky and cumbersome to handle and store.

Cool! Thanks for letting us know. I bought a $15 generic one that Amazon’s vehicle matching says should work and should arrive today. Wasn’t the nicest looking one, but figured I should get SOMETHING in there as we are now into 100F+ days now. Man that interior can get hot.

So the sunshade I ordered from Amazon was way too big. It was one of the flexible wire type so I could get it in there, but it certainly wasn’t easy and didn’t fit well. It did have a little steering wheel cover with it, but it’s going back. Looks like I’ll just order one of the custom fit ones people have found.

I ended up ordering this one from the manufacturer’s website in the gold/black vs silver/white.

I bought this one and it fits like a glove. Saved over $50 from the Kia one and visors don’t have to be pulled down. It will be bulky to store but it’s only for the summer here in CA.
What do you mean only for the summer? In California it's always summer!

Just an FYI, the dealer will replace the dash if there's a bubbling problem and not repair it.
