Actually got an email from the dealer that our car is set to be delivered on April 16 to Arapahoe Kia. I have the window sticker and VIN so I am hopeful that the timeline is true.
What did you order? Mine is due there about the same time. I may see you there

There is going to be a FLOOD of canceled orders for this 2023 KIA Telluride! The all digital display alone will make everyone cancel!!!
I was told by my dealer that if I change my order in any way or cancel and reorder I would go immediately to the back of the line. Depending on when they do the line changeover for model year I'm thinking that mine will most likely be a 2023!!! That will be sweet!!!

I attached some 2023 photos but you can go here to see all of the 2023 photos and videos:

Hi everyone

I am new to the forum as I just registered after FINALLY getting my Telluride on Friday, 4/15

I had ordered on 12/01/21 which means 4 1/2 months of waiting.

I hear the waiting times are starting to go longer; I was originally told 3-4 months and had hoped closer to 3 as I am an impatient type of person and had already been wanting a Telluride since they came out.

Was it worth it? I would say yes.
Its definitely a lot of vehicle for the money.

So, congrats to those that have already placed their orders or even received their new rides.

My dealer told me a lot of people got tired of waiting and had cancelled mid-process and bought something else.
Those orders were sold immediately to a different buyer but of course at substantial markup

They also told me that their store already, or still, has 100 Telluride orders in the queue.

No dealers can apparently order stock units, just pre-orders for sold units.

Good luck, this market is insane!!!

Steve

Oh man... I ordered in October... still nothing in failcat. I hope the line switch happens before my build... those upgrades are nice!

After reviewing Failcat data the changeover from 2020 to 2021 took place on 6/22/2020. It appears that the changeover from 2021 to 2022 took place around 6/10/2021. So if I was a betting man I would say that if your order is not picked up by 6/15/2022 you have a real solid chance of receiving a 2023!!!

Anybody else have thoughts in this regard?

Howdy everyone! I am new to the forum. I just placed my build order a week ago with $1000 non-refundable deposit, and now the waiting game gets started. Hope it won't be too long.

I love the square amber DRL of 2022, but I also love the new features of 2023. So I am OK with either model. I don't think my Telly will be available for delivery in 4 months, so I think most likely I will have a '23 model.

One quick question. We must have the VIN available before we can check on Fail at, right? And the VIN won't be available until Kia picks up the order and shows it on KFOS?

Correct. The VIN is created when the vehicle hits paint and then pops up on Failcat.

I spoke with my dealer yesterday. They are not anticipating the release of the 23 models until later this fall. So, if mine arrives in the next month I'm going to have a 22 model.

Greetings all! I'm a newbie here too.
I ordered a gravity gray SX w/gray interior & tow package October 15, 2021. (same date as you "Aggiegirl 91"). It looks like we're oddly in the same boat...waiting and waiting...almost 7 months now. As I was reading through all of the posts on this forum, I kept hoping to see an update stating that Aggiegirl91 had received her Telluride by now. Fingers crossed for you and everyone else that orders move a bit faster. Last I spoke with my dealer was April 15th, 2022 and was told I was about #30 in the queue. As of today, I've watched 30 Tellurides post orders on failcat for my specific dealership and still have not seen my order. Ugh! I plan to check back in with my dealer on May 15th (exactly a month since I last pestered him) to get an update.

M

My sales person told me he thought they stopped pulling in March but Iโ€™m not 100% sure on that. I wish someone on here knew for sure. Lol
Hey Joelle530 and Aggiegirl91, any news as of May 27, 2022? Are you closer to your order getting picked up? Or better yet, have either of you gotten your Tellurides yet? ๐Ÿ˜Š
