I bought my car and then about a week later started my UVO, but the start date says the date of my car purchase for some reason not the date that I started using UVO. NOTE!!! The UVO app uses Pacific time for the scheduled remote starts, so if you do not live in the Pacific time zone, you will need to adjust your start time to PST.
Schduled start times?! Sweet, I missed that somehow

LOL....those prices are insane! Kia needs to understand their customer base. We buy Kia because of the value. The typical Kia buyer is going to laugh at that and then forget all about it.

It is upsetting that you have to pay at all. It is an action specific to the vehicle. It isn't like paid radio. This is providing a BASIC service that allows you to START your vehicle from a distance. I had a remote fob aftermarket that could start/unlock my car from over 1000 ft. I paid a flat fee and once bought...was mine. This is like "leasing" and it never is yours. Next thing you know ... you have to subscribe to even being able to start your vehicle to utilize it. It just seems wrong...my opinion. We already paid for the receiver that is in the vehicle already.

To me it is close to the fact that when we buy a vehicle today...we PAY for the "BLACK BOX" that can record YOUR actions prior to an accident and the contents CAN be used AGAINST you in a Court of Law. It is assembled in conjunction to the circuits that control starting and/or airbags so even though it is YOURS...you can't deactivate it. You have NO choice but to "pay" for it.... it is NOT free.

I'm so disappointed in having to pay for REMOTE START... My daughter's 2007 cheap Chevy had remote start on the FOB...
VERY UPSET And I WILL NOT PAY MONTHLY FOR THIS
lol my brothers brand new bmw requires an app too. No monthly feee right now so chill. No info has been released about pricing - the earlier screen shot isn’t true. Might be $6 a month which should be worth it once the fix the bugs and add services. The car uvo services require 4g and that cost money to operate ...

To end the speculation, I called Kia and was told the trial period for my car (SX) is one year.
They have not established a price schedule beyond that yet. "Straight from the horse's mouth."

I'm sure that they will be scrambling come March next to year to decide what to do!

Did they mentioned any updated pricing on the subscription fees?

Anyone else have to wait to re-lock your Telluride every time you want to initiate a remote start? For some reason the car thinks my car is always unlocked even when it isn’t. Just a pain having to wait the extra 30-60 sec to re-lock every-time start it.

Yes, it's very slow. I've also experienced an issue where the horn will start to honk after using the app to lock the doors. This has nothing to do with the 10 minute time out of setting the climate though which also results in the horn going off (saw this somewhere else, have not personally experienced it). I guess there are still some bugs to be worked out. I've only used the climate/remote start twice because of the delay. If it was faster, I'd probably use it more.

Every now and then, if I locked the car using the fob, it shows "locked". But most of the
time, it shows as "unlocked". It is very annoying and, if not fixed by the end of my trial period,
I won't subscribe.

Got an email yesterday and the prices are as mentioned above. Disappointing to say the least. I won't be paying those fees.

EDIT: There was language in the email about a special offer that said, "We'll soon be sending you a special offer as a token of our appreciation. So, please be on the lookout."
