Remote starter, engine oil dipstick

Just purchased a 2025 LX. My 2 questions are:
1- remote start works inconsistently. I rebooted the infotainment system and replaced the key fob battery with no luck
2- checking oil after car sits overnight, first pull out- the dipstick oil level is at the low mark. Reinserted and second check oil is at the full mark on dipstick???

Welcome to the site, congrats & good luck with the 25.
Have had no issues with remote start on either vehicle, might be time for a visit to the dealer.
Was the dip stick in all the way when you 1st pulled it out ?..................( pull out, wipe, put in, pull out, read level )..

That's exactly how the dipstick on the Telluride works. Pull it out, wipe it, put it in, pull it out and then check it. Something in the way it seals at the bottom.

I haven't tried the remote start from the key fob. I use it rarely from the App and it works well on the rare times I use it.
