I just started using CarPlay for music in my '21 Telluride. The volume is much lower, with the same audio volume setting, with CarPlay than it is playing music on the FM radio. I've tried adjusting the volume controls on the phone and in the audio system, but it just doesn't perform the same. I've also confirmed on the iPhone and in the sound system, there isn't any volume limits enabled. FM produces a louder sound overall.
What am I missing?
In addition, for some weird reason, the volume numbers only go up to 45? What ever happened to using a 0-10 or 0-100 scale?
This system REALLY needs 7 or more channel equalizer. WAY too much treble and the Quantum Logic Surround adds even more treble, too much mid-bass, and the overall system doesn't have very good low frequency response. Needs a real sub-woofer.
I'm using the Harman Kardon system in my '21 SX-P.
