Have 2021 KIA Telluride and has a bad vibration starting at 65 MPH. So far dealer isn't doing anything about it. Says KIA is not aware of any problem.

Had a similar problem on my 2020 Telly and the dealer solved it with a tire balance.

Have same problem as many of you. Kia should be reading this forum am disappointed they won't
resolved this issue. If they get a recall without Listening to customers it will be a big financial loss
to them. Lets keep the pressure on.

After almost 4 hours at KIA dealer, Kia Headquarters finally admitted that the driveshaft and coupler had to be replaced. They no about the problem but are reluctant to admit it. Beware of Teluride.

KIA has given dealer authority to order a new driveshaft and coupler. Guess what it's been over a week and no new parts yet. Pretty pathetic that you buy a new KIA and have to drive it three months and your old KIA road better. Don't buy a Telluride until KIA does a recall.

On 7/5/21 Kia authorized the Moline Illinois dealer to order new driveshaft and coupler. Finally 17 days later dealer in Moline set up appointment for install. Been fighting this KIA problem for over 3 months, terrible response from KIA and worse from dealer.

I am having this same issue with my 2021 telluride SX Nightfall Prestige with tow package. The vibration starts about 65-67 mph and goes until about 72-75 mph. There is a distinct howl or reverb in the cabin when this happens. The vibration became even more apparent when I pulled a lightly loaded(200lbs) 2 place snowmobile trailer. The rear center light and HVAC controls between the sunroof and moon roof vibrate so badly it produces an audible vibration/shaking noise that is enough to cause vertigo. We drove 4 hrs like this and it was painful. I will be taking my telluride in soon. I hope with my research and this forum that it will be a 1 stop repair and not be denying the issue and attempting tire balance first.

I have a 2022 Telluride. Have vibration in steeringwheel and noticable rumble at 70 to 80 mph. Dealer balanced tires and this reduced but did not eliminate the problem. It is back with them now and they are keeping it overnight for more diagnostics and to “get readings to send to KIA”. Sounds like exact same issue/symptom. Disappointing in a brand new car.

Finally found some good info that should help everyone.
Took this info to dealership and they were surprised. It is a time consuming step by step sequence that KIA requires to get resolved. Dealership has sent in again driveshaft and differential numbers will have to see what next. Here is site to go to:
https://www.nhtsa.gov/vehicle/2020/KIA/TELLURIDE/SUV/AWD#manufacturerCommunications.
I copied it and took to dealer so they couldn't say they didn't know about it. Good luck!!

Thanks for the reference link. It sounds exactly like my problem, although I have a 2022. Dealer has diagnosed as drive shaft problem and has requested authorization from KIA to replace as warranty item. Awaiting response. In the mean time They did get me a HERTZ rental. Likey 2 weeks to get my brand new car back. Disappointing in a new car but they seem to be trying to address it. Will see how this plays out.

Dealership normally orders parts in first then make appt. Only takes about 1 hour to replace? Its more than a driveshaft so be prepared to take it in again as some of us have. Will keep you posted on my next driveshaft and coupler on order.

Have a 2022 Telluride that we picked up 3 weeks ago. Vibration at 65+. This is day 3 that the dealer has been working on it and they are contacting KIA about the problem. We will see what happens.

If you look at my post on 3/11 https://www.kiatelluride.org/posts/16740/ you will see they know about this. Dealer has changed drive shaft, coupler, transfer box and tire balance and power balance. Has improved but still has less noticeable vibration at 73-75 mph. Said has cured couple other tellurides. Awaiting factory rep to look at now. But my theory is that some owners don't realize they have this problem and don't realize it.

I had he vibration on my 2022 SX between 64 to 74 mph. Did a wheel balance that did reduce it and got a road force balance that eliminated the vibration.

There’s a TSB on the vibration and the first step is a road force balance. If still prevalent than replacing propeller shaft is next step.
